Hi BigBill,
Thank you for reminding us of the things we all should be thankful for. You are a wise man to realize you have so much. We all share a great hobby but it really isn't who we are. We are family members first and foremost. Keep taking care of yourself and your family because they are more important than any find. Have a great holiday! |

bigbill,
No words can ease the pain that you are feeling now, but have comfort in knowing that there are friends and family who are there for support and comfort. I lost my mother (in-law by definition but more like my own mother) 1 year ago this November. I felt the pain of her loss, and I still do, but I can only imagine what my wife must feel. The same with you, although you feel the loss imagine what Sheri is going thru. It's tough for both of you. Hang in there and be strong, talk to people, read books on grieving - find out what works best for you and your family. Remember your mother in-law may be gone, But Never Forgotten. Peace |

Thanks for the post Bill. It's WAY to easy to get caught up in the everyday - and forget what is really important. Over the Thanksgiving holiday I was way out in the boonies and at first became really frustrated because I didn't have internet or cell phone service. How in the world would I keep up with business? Would I miss out on something important? And then it hit me like a freight train...who cares? Nothing can POSSIBLY be more important than the smiling faces around me...my family and friends who love me for being me - NOT for whether or not I land the next big deal. I felt like such an idiot!
![]() Thankfully, I have my wife who keeps me on an even keel...she never said a word all the time I was griping about missing e-mails and phone calls...but just smiled and hugged me when I said I was sorry for being such a jerk, and said: "I knew you'd figure it out". God bless ya, Bill and Sheri for showing all of us how to be thankful - even during the hardest of times. Shawn
