Default The family is gone and I'm back

Well the family has all gone home. It was a great (and busy) time. 3 veeery active grandsons aged from almost 2 to almost 4 can really keep you going, especially since most of their visit was rainy and with their parents, our small home was bursting at the seams, so we did a lot of stuff outside of the home (Baltimore Aquarium, Moon Bounce, visit with Santa, family visits, etc). My one son-in-law and I did get out on one of the few clear days and detected for a few hours, nothing but some clad and trash.

Our home seems very empty now (and quiet!) but I’m still looking over my shoulder, waiting to be “attacked” by the kids.

Anyway, it’s been awhile since I logged in here, I did do some lurking when I got the chance and will try to catch up on all the posts, but there’s a few I want to respond to now:

First my condolences to Bill & Sheri on the loss of Sheri’s mother, and Warsawdaddy on losing his wife. From their posts it’s evident that there was no lack of love and sacrifice for their loved ones. Neither one should have any regrets and Warsaw, let us know when you finally wear out your detector.

Also belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY’s to Kent and Gator.

Docdinar and Greg, great what you’re doing for Bill and Sheri and I’ll be paypaling Greg soon.

HooseNutz, I want to thank you and all the service men and women for your service to our country and the sacrifices that you make.

EPC Guy, looks like some contest, I can’t wait to read all the posts but from what I've seen so far, looks way over my head!

ChicagoRon, Beautiful ring, you could have kept it but your honesty paid off bigger….a new ring in your size!

I see a lot of new members so WELCOME to TQ, and as you’re probably already aware of, there’s a lot of friendly and helpful people here.

Glad to see you back, Alan! Sounds like you had a great time over Thanksgiving...my daughters (and grandson) weren't able to join us this year - but Peg and I are making a trip to PA soon to remedy that!

Welcome back Alan, glad you had a good holiday. My company is still here and another one will be getting here on 18 December. I have also taken my family into Baltimore to see the sites many years ago. Loved the fish and the inner harbor. Happy Hunting...Buster....
