Default hi

well today, me and my daughter went out in the yard and did some detecting after i got squared away with the detector and we did ok...not great but ok. We found mostly old nails and a couple pieces of scrap electrical wire. In one hole , the first one, we dug a nail up and about an inch further down we found a piece of white, cut granite shaped like a domino. I think its a tile cutoff. She was very excited about it lol. Her goal is for us to find her a ring but she likes just about anything that comes out of the dirt(giggle). She's only 4 and very easy to please , when it comes to treasures from the ground. She has a big rock collection that she's so proud of. So after that spot yeilded no more goodies i decided to go around the house to where i found those bullet casings. We didn't find any more bullet casings yet but as it was getting too dark to see well enough the detector made some good hits...more nails im sure but who knows,,,thats the beauty of this hobby. I will be posting some pics real soon of me and the family and my finds so far. Dont be too excited when you see my wonderfull pile of rusted nails! Later folks...Cory in AZ

It sounds like you and your helper are doing great! I just know you both are having a great time detecting, and being together, Beale.
