Hey, Dylan, sounds like you have plenty of places to keep you busy for awhile, take your time at each place & cover the area good, don't get discouraged if you don't find a lot right off the bat or are finding a lot of trash, there will be stuff at those places, also for practice I'd take a penny, nickel, dime & quarter out to the yard & practice going over them so you'll know the different sounds or tones each make, good luck to you & keep us posted!!!!

That sounds like plenty to keep you busy!! What a great way to start!! I had to beg my friends and Uncle to let me mutilate their yards lol!!! Four-wheelers are awesome too! Have fun out there and keep us updated!

Wow Dylan, you already have a bunch of places to hunt. That is half the job. Like everyone said, be safe and keep your 250 and probe dry.

Good luck Bud ! Sounds like enough places to keep ya busy for awile. If you can see if you can find some old photos of the places you hunt, the older the better. This could give ya a better idea of were to look.

Dont do what I did with my first detector ! I slipped on some ice and dropped it in a mudpuddle ! Luckly it dried out and was fine.

Hi, Hey Dylan Sounds Like You Have Alot Sites To Hunt..Don't Forget To Look Outside Of The Box. Just Go To Your Public Library And Do Some Research On Your Town. Research Can Sometimes Open Your Eyes To An Endless Supply Of Sites To Hunt. I Will Caution You Though Learning Your Machine Is Going To Take Some Time..Keep The Faith And Don't Get Discouraged Eventually Things Will Start To Click. Good Luck....Thanks

Best of luck to you Dylan! This weekend while you're waiting on your 250 to arrive, you might go out into your woods & practice digging a few holes, try and make them as neat as possible, then once you get to actually recover a find you'll have alittle practice.

Something else, you can never have too many places lined-up. Ask your friends at school if their parents might let you search their yards this spring. Perhaps you could even ask your school to let you hunt their property as a class "project".
