Good deal Dylan!
 Take some coins, a nail, a pulltab, and some odds & ends you might run-across whle MDing, and do some air-tests, this will help you familiarize yourself with different tones. Just be sure to do this away from electronics, electrical cords/wiring, etc.Be sure & read the manual many times over.....we'll all be looking forward to start seeing pics of your finds & hearing about them. Smitty

thanks everyone and my Brother has not been able to try it out he is alot older then me so...But i hope tomorrow it is thawed enough to take it out to my Uncle Johny's!

Congrats Dylan! Pray for a warm spell! It's pretty cold here in PA too. I couldn't get the shovel in the ground so I was using a long screwdriver today. It went into the ground OK but was a little tougher since I am still working on my pinpointing. That just meant I had to poke a few times before I found the target. I'm looking forward to your "finds" posts. Seems like you have some cool spots to hunt lined up. Good luck to you!
