About the Whole Censorship Thing Today
Some of you will have seen the fracous that occurred today over the deleting of one of my posts. Please understand that I am a vehement advocate of free speech and open dialogue if we are to maintain a free and democratic society, something we and our forefathers fought so hard to achieve. I have posted over 2300 posts on another forum in the last year and only once was I shut down in the 2 years that I have been a member there, I was informed by the moderator of his position and given the opportunity to plead my position before it was shut down. I wasn't happy with the decision but I accepted the moderator's position as that's his job. Whether or not yesterday's post was right or wrong isn't the point, my issue was with how it was handled, particularly because it was the third post I'd had deleted or cancelled in only 3 months.
The matter has been resolved and a compromise has been reached that all parties feel is acceptable so we're moving forward. I must admit that I was seeing red for a while today and had planned on leaving but that rascal Rip went and posted my intentions and I just couldn't bring myself to leave when so many of my friends at TQ reminded me of why I like this forum so much. I hope this means you are staying with us. Greg has a very tough job, but I know that he is a great guy and very fair. I would hate for you to leave. I truly enjoy all of your post.

I'm so happy that this all has been put to rest. I'm glad you are staying with us BDA!!!! AND.... Thank you Greg for keeping a dialog with BDA and discussing things.
