Default The Sniper is coming!!

Thanks to Ali for pointing me in the right direction. I ordered a Sniper coil for the Ace today. Will be hitting those trashy areas soon.

Default A question about the sniper coil

Will the sniper coil pick up targets that the larger coil does not detect? or do I have one of the cleanest yards in history? I am presently using the 5x6 stock coil and hear NOTHING in great portions of my yard. My home was formerly owned my a shade tree mechanic and in an area full of farms, horses and cattle. Did no one drop ANYTHING? I am running in all metal mode, I am not discrimating anything, and sens tuned to 3 due to wet ground. In a 50 sqft area I might get one beep. I am going to take it out tomorrow since I was in Little Rock all day and try it again.

Hey Er.. Congrats on your Sniper... If they are anything like the H.O.T. Coils on the Tesoros you are gonna see a Big difference. Many Finds To Ya !
Hey Dragon.. Impossible as It may seem Ya might be on some Very Virgin Ground. I never Thought there was such a Thing figuring Someone has had to drop Something somewhere in a certain area of ground BUT My Sisters Place has grass on Both Sides and In Back Of Her Trailer measuring 20' by 100' on both sides and 20' by 30' in the back. Now I've been over that whole area with 6 different kind of Detectors and NOT ONE BEEP ! Nada.. Nothing.. Zilch..Zero !! Blows My Mind.
I still can't Believe it. I'm gonna try my CZ21 there but I know I won't hear anything wich makes NO Sense at All but that is how it is there. Very.. Very.. Very Strange !! Good Luck and Hope Ya Find Something but if Ya don't ... Well it does happen at least with me.

Increase your sensitivity and see if that works. Go all the way up if thats what it takes. If theres no junk in the yard like you say, then you may find something very deep and good!

Thanks Tinman. At least I know I'm not alone in my non trashy yard. Now around the garage/workshop is another story, Hubby has probably dropped enough staples and nails t build a small wooden city.

Thanks Rob, I will try that tomorrow.
