Default Spring: The Downside?

Well it is official spring has hit this part of NC. Why you ask is it official? Today I MOWED! The grass. In the process of going out to mow, I also cleaned the yard of the sticks from the winter. Went ahead and trimed all my bushes, changed the oil and sparkplug in the mower, and wore myself out!!!

My 1 hour project (mowing) turned into a 4 hour job!! Why is it I can MD for 4 hours and love it, but this was just plain work? Anyhow a warning to all of you wishing for spring. The downside is no fun, Beale.

Yeah, I have noticed that my "weeds" need to be mowed also. I am putting it off as long as I can. <sigh>

Beale I have a few big 100 year old oaks in the front Yard and sticks everywhere..I need to get up so I can take a few spins with the F75 as deep as possible..I love this time of year in NC
Now with the days longer its time to sit back and watch the grass grow..and get the kids outside..I love it
