Out again on the Farm: Addenum
I was able to get out again for a few hours today. I was getting nothing but terra/farm flotsam for the first few hours, then I decided to go around the foundation of the older section of my house.
6 pennies(one wheatie, 1940) others were in the 70,s 1 1961 nickle 1 pocket watch.(what a suprise when I am searching for coins) front is gone, no arms, and its soaking now. hopefully the back casing is silver and perhaps a maker name. I can't tell you how hyped up I am about finding older and larger denomination coins. I know they are there. Riff

ive been hoping to hear something about farm hunting...and found it in your post. nice work and there's bound to be all kinds of interesting trinkets and goodies laying in wait.

Congrats on the finds! A wheatie makes for a good day! Look for signs of a old walkway, or even a cloths line. I have been lucky at both, Beale.
