Hey Grasshopper,should be a great site to hunt.I live less than a mile from the Otsego county fairgrounds and hunt there every now and then.I've seen and found some really good stuff come out of there.Everything from lots and lots of trash to a gold coin and diamond ring.There is going to be ALOT of junk but also some great stuff !

thanks everyone, i'm thinking there might not be too much trash, seeing how it is an area that isn't used much today. here's a modern pic, and the area which i will be focusing on. there's a fence there, so im thinking that on the side of the fence closer to the grandstand no one has beeen over there too much.
