Default Rebate

Rebate? Like the guy said earlier. Nothings free. Our kids are getting the IOU for it. But enjoy it now. Just like most things the Govt "gives" us. It just gets added to the national debt to be paid at a later date by someone else.

Sorry about being a spoiler on this tax rebate. On the bright side it will shorten our recession.

Riff

You're not alone TINMAN. We're not getting a check either. DH was laid off most of last year and my kind of Social Security doesn't count.

Probably just as well tho. DH would probably want to put it towards something silly like our son's college or housing and I'd want to do something practical like buy more arrowheads.
