Thanks all. I was a single mom for several years and my son needed a GOOD man in his life. He has had that the last 8 years and is turning out to be a really good kid.

DH is already planning on what he is going to leave "to my son" as he puts it. I never get tired of hearing that.

Plus when he does do something to aggrevate me (as all teenagers do to their parents) I can say "well he's YOUR son!"
