Default Earthquake anyone?

We had a 5.4 this AM witht he epicenter about 40 miles from us. It woke us up just before 4:45. I was just sitting here writing that I wish it would have happened a little later in the day so I could feel it when an aftershoke hit before I could finish what I was writing. Never mind, that's enough I felt that one!

Kind of cool, but that's enough now.

We have had two others in this area in my lifetime that I know of. One in '68 when I was a few months old and one in '87. I remember that one. This is the first time I've ever felt 2 in one day tho.

I really don't have much in the way of dishes to worry about but I did take my frames of arrowheads off the shelf and put them in a safe place. Other than that about all we'd have to worry about things falling is out 1000s (literally) of books falling off the shelves. I'll just stay on the opposite side of the library for a few days. LOL

Yes, I felt it here...been awhile since that has happened around this area...it was more of windows and the walls vibrating, didn't last long...most people around here didn't even know it happened.
