Default Future Plans

Hi,
I've got a few things planed for us this summer and need to know the type of internet connection everyone is using.

I've used dial-up for years and now here in the country they finally brought the cable internet and I love...much more enjoyable and no wait!!!

Lets do a poll and vote above...

I'm planning on doing a few Metal Detecting videos so you can download and watch.
Also have a friend who is putting together a good video on Privy / bottle dump digs! which should be very interesting to watch! Need to work out the details with him yet.

What do you folks think about this?

Pd 400.00 for a high spd,3 wks later it went out. After 80 hrs on the phone with them, they finally agreed it must be their equip.A guy showed up and found the transmitter on the dish was burned out and he replaced it.Two wks later, the same thing except the co. wanted to go thru the 80 hr testing thing again so I pd 400.00 and cancelled the service. The A-10's fly about 200 ft right above my house twice a wk when they make a run at the dam and I'm sure they have all their ECM equip turned on and that it's locking on to my transmitter if I'm on line and that's burning it out.Haven't bothered to talk to the AF,they won't admit anything.Eventually, the phone co will get to this remote area, but no plans yet!Guess I'll suffer with dial-up.

I'm on highseep connection and would love to see the videos. Just a few suggestion that you may already know about. I think you might want to pick a format and make it avaiable to everyone here or download link to get the format soemthing to that nature we could also zip files and that wouldn;t take near as much time any who later guys gotta go hunt now

Thanks Will Lane

Sounds real good to me Greg. I only have dialup, but I do use the comp at work that is a lot faster. So this won't bother me at all.

I have DSL. Not quite as fast as broadband but about 100 times faster than dial up.
Looking forward to the videos.

Just would take longer to download the video using dial-up.
You could start the download and leave your internet connect on all night.
Or I might be able to zip the file up for easier quicker downloads but not sure.

I will also be willing to mail cd's to dial-up users

Won't be long till almost everyone is using BB /DSL and Dial-up will be a thing of the past
