Default Mr.Silver-Hospital Stay?

Mr.Silver stayed overnight in the hospital, I choked on a piece of meat, it would not go down or out. The doctors had to scoped it out today and strenght my throat(my espogash had a pocket so small that nothing would pass) I had some much food in there to feed a family.
But I am home now taking it easy and watching what I eat(soft food for 6 weeks lose a lot of weight)
I can not wait to swing my coil again

Mr.Silver

I am glad you made it though, I bet that was pretty scary to go through.
You take care of yourself.

Hope we can get together to do some detecting sometime soon

That is terriable! Glad you are ok! My son choked on a jaw breaker a few months back and it would not come out! Finally it went down and luckely we didn't have to make that trip to the hospital. I just freaked! Not to good in those situations! So glad to hear you are doing ok!

Sorry to hear that Mr.Silver,

I feel for ya brother cause i have a similar condition that has to do with a narrowing of the cardiac sphincter at the base of the esophagus and have choked many many times over the past 5 yrs.In my case acid reflux is the main culprit and it was much worse until i lost 20lbs. I wish you the best and please try to take care of yourself because it will get better and don't do what i do, like when i feel better i go back to my old ways of eating and it comes back when you least expect it. Good Luck and HH Bill

I would think that Kirby is in Green county which in the next county over from me (I'm in Fayette) I'll look on the map.

I'm going to research a campsite where Geo Washington and his troops camped in Jumonsville (about 10 miles from me)
Would anyone be interested in hunting it with me?

Kirby is 12 to 15 from you, and when you planned to hunt Jumonsville?

Hey Mr Silver.......I can definitely empathize with your situation with your esophagus. Mine spasms sometimes and nothing wants to go down....or come up. It's downright frightening and painful. I have suffered with this for a few years...and if it becomes chronic, I'll be going to the doctor. It's sporadic though, and I still don't know what triggers it.

I wish you the best with that. Health is a precious and fragile thing.

Hey Greg......I was reading an article in Western and Eastern treasures that you should read. It concerns hunting civil war sites (and is even more pertinent to colonial sites). You will need to get below the "plow line" to recover good artifacts from that time period. Figure all of the leaves composting each and every year since the 1700s...and even if you figured only 1/4 inch per year.....in 200 years....you'd be looking at a layer of "new" soil 50 inches deep. If it were to accumulate only 1/8 inch per year, you'd still have to remove just over 2 feet of soil to get to the original surface.

I am going to look for Statler's fort here in Greene Co.....but probing in order to locate any buildings on such a site...and excavating in the manner of an actual archeaological dig.....in order to make any recoveries...is probably going to be required. Digging, sifting....detecting. All great fun anyway, but not a one day endeavor. That's a whole summer's work.
