Newbie!

Hello to everyone! I just purchased a Garrett Ace 250 today. Can't wait to try it out. The reviews on this detector sound pretty good considering the cost. I'm new to treasure hunting, so the Ace should do me fine. Sounds like the electronics are the same as the higher priced Garretts, but the nuts and bolts are somewhat cheesier. Maybe that's something I can beef up myself. I live outside of Charlotte NC and hope to make some treks to the beach every now and then.

Thanks for the warm welcome...I hope to learn good techniques from you guys and pass them along as well. Sounds to be one fun and possibly lucrative hobby! I aim to be one with my Ace 250 like it is an extension of my arm!
