Default Hello To Everyone!

My name is Kerry and I've decided to get back into this wonderful hobby after a 24 year absence. I bought my first real detector in 1980 (White's 6000D). Me and my twin brother spent many afternoons and Saturdays detecting old schools and parks around NW Indiana and we found our share of silver coins! We mainly were coinshooting back then. In the 3-4 year span, that I seriously was into the hobby, I found a total of 8 - silver half dollars and approximately 150 assorted other silver coins and some rings, silver medallions, etc..

I've now moved South and I'm anxious to get back into the hobby. After much research, I've ordered a Tesoro Tejon detector and it should be here next week.

I just came across your site today and was elated to find such a great place for others to share their finds and experiences. I'm uploading two pictures of some of the silver I've found over the years. I still have every silver coin I found 24+ years ago.

I can't wait to get started!

Highway66,

Great to have you back to detecting and welcome to TQ. This is by far the best detecting site on the net. If you have any questions, ask away as there is always someone that can answer it. Best of luck in 2K7 hunting. Those look like some good finds you found in the past. Hopefully you will be able to exceed that soon enough!

Eric
