Default cleaning your coins

this is not recomended for old collectable coins. only for new pennies and clad coins. iv cleaned 1000s of coins a fast and inexpensive way. try it on a few, see if it works for you. do not mix pennies and clad coins or you will plate clad coins copper. you can clean 500 or more pennies at a time using white vinger only. cover pennies with vinger in plastic bowl or stanless steelpan ,stir often until clean 1/2 to 1 hr . dump vinger and wash in clean water until clear , i dump on a towell and rub untill dry. on clad coins i cover coins with white vinger and add iodized salt , just enough to litely cover coins, mix good and often until clean, dump vinger and rinse until water is clear, dump on towel and rub dry. most will be good enough to take to bank. the bad rusty coins will come out a dull color and i run through coin star with no problem. vinger and salt is very inexpensive compared to a tumbler .

could you run vinegar and rock salt through the tumbler? Just a thought, for the really crusty clad.
