Default 1st Day out with MXT

Hey folks, I posted a hello here a week or so ago, and really thank you all for the warm welcome. I did go get my new Whites MXT this weekend. I also purchased the DD Coil and a MXT handbook.

After watching the DVD, I could not help myself. I walked across the street to the schoolyard playground and within 10 minutes had 36 cents and a button. I was amazed at the accuracy, " quarter, 3 inches deep", sure enough, LOL, quarter, 3" deep.

I think this is going to be a great hobby. I'll lurk alot and ask questions as I need, but great site with great people it looks so far. 2 pics, my new MXT on my coin desk and my 1st 4 items ever.

The Very Unofficial White's MXT Metal Detector Users Support Homepage
Check out this link for some good info on the MXT. Its a great detector and am happy for you. I have a M6 and lovin it. Which DD coil did you get? The smaller coils are great for playground use and any other hunting spot thats full of trash and iron. Also with the smaller coils you can get close to the playground equipment without interference from the equipment;also, you can turn your sensitivity down a good deal if you are in a tot lot and steal get all the depth your gonna need.
Best of luck with your new detector,
John
