Either one is a good choice for depth.
Hey Boobie... I don't mean to be rude but that depth chart is highly bogus in my opinion. They show a Whites 6000 XL as no better than a Bounty Hunter Jr and an Ace250 is the same as a Whites XLT ?!?!?!?!?. I DON"T THINK SO !!! . It's very suspect and tends to show Minelab ruling the world. I wouldn't put any faith into it's accuracy.

Hey what gives the GTAx550 on the 5 pence is lower on the chart then the ACE 250. I guess more money doesn,t mean better machine?

After looking at it closer Tony, I have to go along with your thinking.

But at least it will make people do some more investigating when considering a new purchase.

The tester has explained how the test was performed and the conditions. I wouldn't think it was that far off considering it was performed in England with English coins. A test in the US with US coins might prove differently.

Didn't I read somewhere that American made machines don't detect foreign coins as well because the discrimination circuitry also considers size in it's pattern?

Hightone ..... I don't care where it was supposedly taken or what was used , it is just plain way off base and not very accurate ; biased maybe but accurate NO !!!!

Just curious if you've looked at the test on the NEXUS home website ? They have the GTI 2500 & DFX along with 4 other detectors compared to their models. I don't know anything about european coins but I think the DFX got the short end of the stick on this one. Just wondered if you've seen it & what your opinion might be.
