hi,
i'm new to the site and have my 1st question. i have a garrett gta 500 after reading all the hype about the ace 250 thinking about selling the 500 and getting the ace 250. should i? would i get more depth? pin pointing kinda scares me w/the 250,reading some people have problems w/ that.my gta pin points right on. thanks for any info you guys provide bass-pro |

These are two very equal detectors overall. The 550 is the updated version of the 500 and would do better. My suggestion would be to go with the 1350 as an upgrade. This is now a great deal with two coils for the price of one. Please visit my site or call me and I'll be glad to help you out.
