Default PANNING/M.DETECTING OREGON

Hi,I'm new to this sight and would like to know some areas inOregon to go prospecting areas in the Rogue valley (Jackson County , Medford or Josephine County)I would like to pan as well as detect.

There are several people in your area who dredge, pan, and metal detect. Visit some of the other gold prospecting sites and you will find some contacts.
BigBruce in Roseburg

hi there, i lived at cave juction and mined on the illinoise river and rouge river. a good place to start would be above gold hill by gold ray dam or illinoise river by green bridge below cave juction, have fun

Welcome to TQ. I just put a post in the general discussions forum about the state of OREGON wanting to Ban Metal Detecting in the state. It is Senate Bill 64. If you go to Treasure Net website click on forums under General Discussions and scroll down and you will see it. It gives all the Info on it and a petition that you can sign if you want. I Did cuz if they do it there then what state is next ? Hope this helps.

that's okay tinman- I was scared too, jsut got into this mding and then saw this too. I did alittle research and found out it was no longer there AFTER I told several people. Couldn't remember who I sent it to and had deleted the files so didn't know who to send it to. lol
