Default Source for demo's...?

I love to hunt demo'ed lots - houses, mainly... Anyone know of a way to find out about building demolitions before they go down?

Contact your local building official and ask if they have issued any demolition permits recently.

What a great research lead. Thanks for the tip. Any other ways?

Cool Local Fire Dept

Hey Guys

The local fire departments around here are all volunteer. Occasionally a building owner may want it cleared so he donates the building to the fire dept. They then have a nice day practicing their duties by setting it on fire and then go through the building saving dummies and such. Beats practicing on real people.

Thanks
Leo

Those are awesome ideas - and I'm friends with one of the local volunteer fire departments - maybe he can be my "in" so I can get permission.
