Default Vibra probe

Hello Everyone

I just went to order a 560 Vibra, but now am told there is a new 570,anyone use this one yet, also just looking for a little feed back on what people like useing in a hole for pinpointing.

Also if anyone is useing the VibraTector and what they think of it to pinpoint.

I'm using the 560 - and I love it! Just bought it about 3 weeks ago...I might have waited if I'd known about the new one coming out - but then again, I'd never used any pointer before - so wouldn't really know how to make a fair comparison....N.E.Wayz...I really enjoy the 560...it's never wrong!

I also have the VP 560 and really like it. The new 570 is supposed to be able to go deeper.

The 560 was my first pinpointer, as well, and it's worth every penny. It saves a bunch of time digging, if your target is within and inch of the area being searched.

I think the only times I've been unhappy with the pinpointer was when the pinpoint on my Ace250 wasn't as accurate as it could have been. Now that I have the sniper coil for my MD, I can really see the value of the VP 560. It has helped me most when I know that something is in a clump or in my hand, but I just can't see it. One time it was a very small piece of jewelery that had fallen off of a larger piece. That was a really cool find.

I do not have one yet, but will soon.

On the new one (570). I actually called the manufactor the other day. The man that I talked to told me this.

The new unit will be out by the end of this month first of next. It will in fact go a bit deeper 1 3/4" maybe 2'". It also will have a bit better seal on the battery area. The new unit will have a low battery "warning" ie three short vibrations. It will have some new electronics inside. One other thing the new unit is going to cost more, in the range of $130-140.

Either way from what I have read it is a great unit, Beale.

I think a VibraProbe is going to be on my Christmas list this year - I've never used one but everyone that I've heard mention them can't seem to imagine what digging would be like without it. I could definitely see the value in using one - especially when I dig and it seems like the target is moving on me. Dig spot A, don't find anything, swing the coil and I'm off a few inches, dig spot B, don't find anything, swing the coil and I"m off a few more inches, and repeat until I finally find the pull tab.

I have the 560,but after seeing the Sunray probe in action on a DFX and a M6,I bought the Sunray on my latest detector. If the new 570 cost that much, then I would reccomend the Sunray. You just flip a switch and the probe will verify on your detector what is in the hole and it will go 3 - 4"deep.The new ones are black so they look good on your detector also.About $170.

The new Vibraprobe 570 will be in stock around the end of the month. It will eventually replace the 560 but at a higher retail price of 149.95 . I will have them at discount if anyone is interested. In the meantime i still have an excellent suppky of 560's in stock at 99.00.
