Default Reverse Electrolysis?

Just wondering if anyone has ever plated something.

I was thinking about doing this to a silver ring that's heavily scratched by reversing the leads and using a dateless silver coin instead of stainless. It should work, just wondering how well?

I too would be interested in the results but have zero knowledge of the process.

I probably won't get to it for a while, but I'll take pictures of the ring before and after and post them.

Hey TINMAN, I'm sure if it works for silver it would work for Tin, but just beware, it'll make you heavier and bigger. After seeing you in that kilt, you really don't need another layer on those hips.
