Is it okay to metal detect hunt when it is cold?
Hi everyone someone recently posted a thread similiar but i didn't get my answer...Is it okay to take your metal detector out and hunt when it is cold?..Just wondering because i will be Getting the Ace 250 in a few days and want to take the best care of it
 ..This information would be very appriciated thanks everyone !!

if its warm enough for you to be out, your detector should be fine!

what if it is 40 something or below is it ok?..Because i will go out in anything thing as long as my detector won't get hurt

I don't think it will get quite that cold! Best bet is to keep it inside if its below 0.

Ok thanks Arkwater..I can't wait i am going to find lots of things! I also was wondering if you could give me a tip on how to put the dirt back in the whole after digging it up? Because i want to keep peoples yards looking like i wasn't even there..Always think about the people around you thats what my dad Always tells me! lol so could you help me thanks!

Do a forum search on "plug" & read all the threads about digging. Lots of good info there.

Ok thanks so this won't change the readings on the detector or anything will it and where do i look on Kellyco?
