Hello,
I have the Original Grey Ghosts for about five years. No trouble, comfortable and pretty rugged. Work well for me. gjm

Headphones are really helpful sometimes and during those times these perform well. JC

Hey there!

From everything I've heard on this end, Gray Ghosts are excellent headphones. They're made by DetectorPro, I'm pretty sure the dood in charge over there is named Gary Storm and he's pretty well known just for these headphones because they're excellent quality. I've literally heard from customers who have said they can't live without 'em,... others have said that they've had the same pair for upwards of 5 years and they're still workin' great.

The Gray Ghosts are pretty much classics, there's the Gray Ghosts NDT (No Down Time) and the Ultimate Gray Ghosts and the Original Gray Ghosts, Gray Ghost Deep Woods and Underwater! If they weren't awesome, I doubt he would have continued the series that far. He's made a bunch of others that have also earned a good reputation, the Black Widow series and Jolly Rogers are both popular too.

Anyway, if there's one thing DetectorPro knows, it's headphones. He's gone on to build metal detectors and every one that he makes has all the controls in the headphones, and they get pretty good reviews so I think he's got it down to a science.

Not sure if this helps you out or confuses you more - lol! But this is what I see, behind the distributor's curtain so to speak. Here's our page with them all listed: DetectorPro Headphones - Kellyco Metal Detectors

Here's the DetectorPro page for them: DetectorPro Professional Metal Detector Headphones

So far I've found one very old license plate, a lot of nails, some funky green pennies and other misc. change.. but who's counting? I'm just here to have fun, giggle, and make friends along the way!

Hey Ali, I've been looking for a review of DetectorPro's new pirate machine and haven't seen one. What have you heard, if anything? I didn't know that they made the Gray Ghost headphones...interesting!

The Grey Ghost are some of the best on the market and we back them up with a money back guarantee. So try em out and if you don't like em send em back. Give me a call and I'll hook you up.

I too am a user of Grey Ghosts "NDTs". DetectorPro puts out some quality equipment..
I May be picking up another set "Black Widows" very soon. I think all their headphones should be Labeled NDT "No Down Time" Their just that good....
