Default Thinking about a T2 or a F 75

Well i hope to have my finds from last year posted today or tomarrow. About a year ago i bought a BH 3300 discovery from RS for $90 out the door. Its been a really good machine, not the best built but hey, a ziplock bag of gold and 5 gal pal of clad later i have enough money to upgrade
I just ordered a new 10in coil from Kellyco for it but started to read up on the reveiws here. I live in NYC and travel to Purto Rico and Tenn duing the summer "school teacher" Should i spring for something more advanced to grow into or get more use out of my BH that i know?

If it were me, I'd probably upgrade and keep the BH as a back-up or lend it to a family member or friend that may want to go hunting with you. Sounds like there's no question that you're into detecting and you've done quite well, so I'd say go for it.

Default Don't Forget The F-70

I'm thinking about seeling off a few possesions taking up lots of room in the garage, andpurchasing either an f-70 or an exterra 70.I'm waiting for some reviews to start coming back in b-4 I make a decision to buy.
If I do this it will be towards summer,I will have to sell off my boat and motor which I only took out twice last year, fun toy but doesn't get used much.I will probably sell my currennt metal detector to help fund it also.
Hank,

ez rider i have read that the BH3300 is a good deep machine for the money..the F75 is a awesome sensitive machine, Deep and is very light..check out the findmall.com site and read the reviews..If you have any questions on the F75 shoot me a pm..I would be glad to give ya info..also check out the TQ review section..If you live near the salt ocean you may want to look at the CZ21 or Excal there made specific for the salt..But I am reading the CZ21 is a good land machine also..james

Default Fyi

The 3300 has more features than machines below the $300 mark. It does go deep, I own one and have found deep coins, the only draw back is its recovery time. That's it. I purchased a Fisher F4. Similar design but ultrafast recovery, depth for pinpoint, and tone differences. I would say you would be happy with an F4 or F5, but if you can spend more the F75 or Minelab Explorer SE would be my choices. My 2 cents. Peter

I to would say Upgrade and keep the BH as a Back-Up or lend to someone to go hunting with you. If you Did that well with the BH then Imagine what you'll do with something that has a Fast recovery Speed and could be more versatile. JMHO.
