Welcome to TQ FG58, I wished I could answer your questions, but I can't. I am sure someone will. You can call one of the sponsors, I am sure they can lead you in the right direction.
Show us some of that yellow you been finding.

Good luck & HH

I just bought an MXT, but havent been out prospecting with it yet. I have found some coins and such. If you want to do both coins and gold, I woulld look into the MXT.

Where are you in Nor Cal? Im in Red Bluff and can put you on to a couple of good dealers up this way.

Hi Findgold58,

I'm on the East Coast. I've spent the past few years gold prospecting and have recently got back into metal detecting. I was looking for a great "all around detector" to coin shoot, relic hunt, and nugget shoot that had a good track record. After doing some research and trying out a few different detectors, I decided to go with White's MXT and have been very pleased with it. There are others that do the same thing as me.....I know of probably 7 or 8 people in my neck of the woods in the past couple months, that have purchased the MXT for the same reasons I have.....Might have to start an MXT club here or something.

Best of luck in your search

Hawk

Welcome to the site Findgold58! It sounds like you are in a great area for looking for gold! The MXT is a sweet machine and will find the gold. Along with it I will aslo recomend the Minelab X-Terra 70. It has a prospecting mode on it and is doing real well finding the yellow stuff.

Give our sponsors a call let them know what you plan and see what they say, Beale.
