I would carry on anything you hope to see again!!! Too much theft from the checked luggage. I carry my in a small rolling suitcase along with my other valuables. You must pack the shaft and diggers though. good luck! I'm headed to the west coast of FL next week. can't wait.

Default I flew with mine today...

...I just broke it down and packed it in a soft-sided duffel bag. I personally prefer to carry mine on-board - as I don't trust baggage handlers to not throw it around. Airport security was no problem either - I unzipped the bag before sending it through - and they never even touched it.
