Default Single cup headphone?

Does anyone use a single cup headphone? Leaving your other ear uncovered. I would prefer to have something like this to hear what's going on around me. Or do certain tones play on specific sides? Right or left?

I just got a set of the Gray Ghost Rattlers last week , and love them....I looked at the Killer B's as well and they are excelent too. Either one, i think you would be happy with.. Try to get some where and test drive both of them to see which one you like the most.....

The Killer B's and Rattlers both have the same teck specs.. I think the only diff is that you can get the killer b's in Blk or Grn, and the Rattlers only come in green, (as far as i know).

I tried the one sided headphone. For my fat head it just didn't feel right kind of a balance thing on my head, I guess I was just used to the regular headphones so thats what I stayed with. You really should try them on before you get them.

I used the one sided headphones once and I think it would take some time to get accustom to it, but they do serve a good purpose. You can hear whats around you pretty good but usually I get caught up in what I am doing and it wouldnt do me much good anyways.
