Default Fisher F70

Hi, new to the forum but not to detecting. Currently use an Ace 250, which I have always been very happy with, but am looking to upgrade to something a bit more sophisticated and deeper seeking.
The F70 looks interesting, was wondering if anyone has had the chance to operate one yet ? Price sure is teetering towards the high end though, I wouldn't mind forking out the $$$ if it would be a definite improvement over the 250, which is a great coin shooter and casual detector, I just need something a bit better [although I know in advance my 250 is going nowhere, I'll still use it].

Tried the Minelab Quattro last year, didn't like it one bit. In fairness to ML, I didn't give it much of a chance, but I didn't really want to. Pinpointing was a nightmare with that double D coil, the alerts were confusing and I just didn't feel it was worth the time to learn it, maybe I was wrong maybe not, but in any case I'm not considering another Minelab at this point.

Garrets I am considering, as happy as I am with the 250, my complaint against those, which may sound silly, if they look like crap, not much of a fan of the boxy, utility looking profile most of them seem to have.

Whites I am considering also, but the $650' F70 is the one that has my attention so far. Haven't seen review # 1 since they just came out, and I seriously doubt if any stores around me would have them.
