Default night hunting

I have seen this on the forums. How do you do it? Is it real dark? Do you use a flashlight and pinpointer?

What I did was mount a small flash light to the middle part of my detector rod. I also got one of those hat lights, like they sell at wal mart, It worked great also! Then everywhere you look its lit up and just go on detecting as usual, Hope I helped, Godbless,Charlie
They also make something called a snake light that works good, its flexable so when you want it to point in a certain direction you just bend it they way you would like it, They are really good also and Yes its very dark! even with all the light.

CM, "E" and I use little LED headlights..I got mine from K-Mart and she got hers from Loes..I think they run about 15 dollars....They are very bright and put out a lot of light...I just stick it to my big head under my ball cap with the straps and off I go...As was said..always be aware of your surroundings and whats around you...Happy Hunting...Buster.....
