You know I had the Vibra Probe 560. I found I was not really using it as much as I thought I would? I dunno just not my cup of tea? I really did not like the size for one thing. The other negative to me was it is only senistive at the tip?

Long story short. I traded it out and took a hit. It is ok though. I am in the process of researching other pinpointers, Beale.

I would have put the extra $ to upgrade to the Prizm III, as Cash said we don't need them on the beach, I don't need one dirt diggin either.

Practice pinpointing with your machine. I used a whites classic II SL for a full year, without a pinpointer, and I could do pretty well !! My MXT came with a bullseye II, but I dont really see the need for it very often, and I think its because I learned to pinpoint using the detector. I can see where if your item was not located properly, lets say in the side wall of your hole, the pinpointer would be useful, BUT if you had pinpointed it properly, with your machine, in the first place, you wouldn't need one !! Rich.

One reason I really like pin pointers is it allows me to keep from digging a huge hole on the property I am on. I had a sunray probe when I had the f75, and man do I miss it sometimes! But I recently purchased a vibraprobe from Tony. I have used one for awhile now and I wouldnt feel complete withtout it. I know many people tho who dont like them so its personal preference.

I am thinking of getting a sun-ray probe for my F75..It looks like it would be a great addition
to an already great Detector..will get 4" or better on coins..

They really help speed up recovery. I recently purchased a Sun-Ray probe for my DFX. One less thing to carry on my belt.

I've not used one so I don't know how much they help. I don't have a problem recovering most finds. But I see where it would help with very little targets.

I use a Whites Bullseye 2. The reason I like it is that you don't have to make a huge hole and sometimes my Pinpointing is off and the Target is in the side of the hole so it keeps me from digging to China I only use it with my Beach Hunter ID on land because I have a harder time Pinpointing with it than my Vaquero and I have found a Indian Head at 15" and It took me forever to find it without it.... So it saves time and my Back

I havent had to use one yet. I realy dont need one for my prizmlll or my classic ID due to them not going too deep. Ive gotten very good and can recover fast as well. I dont think it is necessary because once you know your MD it becomes easy to pinpoint. But on the other hand I just got a minelab explorer that goes very deep and even though i can pinpoint well Im thinking one might come in handy. If you dont have alot of cash you may want to save your clad and let your detector pay for itself and your pinpointer!!!! But if you can get one now you might as well do it, its going to pay for it self!
