Default Pinpointers

How useful are they? When I get my Prizm II next week should I plunk down an extra $120? Thoughts?

Pin pointers can be helpful, but not necessary. It will help find the small targets like bb's and other stuff that is hard to see. Some times the target might be on the side of the hole, and the pin pointer will help you find it.
If you have the funds, I would recommend it.

I don't hunt without mine. Makes recovery much faster. I always find more than anyone I hunt with...I"m sure it is due to the pinpointer.

I have one, it came with my BH QD II. I dont use it at the beach though, that's what sand scoops are for!
From the videos and advice that i've heard, they are worth it. I don't have much experience in field hunting, just a couple times in my yard, but I can see where it would come in handy.

Happy Hunting!

Default Yes Absolutely!

I Would Recommend The Vibra Probe.thats What I Use! Waterproof, vibrates When You Near The Target, turns Off Automatically.i Don't Know How I Did It Without One All These Years? Defiantely Helps Especially With Pennies In The Same Color Dirt.

I would be lost without mine. It is a great tool to have. My BullsEye came free w/ my White's M6. I also have a V4 pinpointer, and that works very well too.

i wouldn't be able to hunt well without mine. i use a vibraprobe 570. i love it except for the fact that if the detector is too close they will sound eachother off. it helps reduce the amount of digging you have to do greatly.

I think they're a good investment.

I have a TinyTec that I use regularly and have had for about 15 years with no problems, very good and inexpensive ($70) pinpointer (Tony in CT sells them).

I also have the Vibraphone that I'll use for wet hunting or rain, also a good pinpointer also but a bit more expensive.
