I need Help!

Hello, I came across a Seben professional model metal detector and I cannot get any info about it. I went to the manuf. site it is all in German. Is any one familiar with it? I did some research on what all the buttons mean, but there are a couple of things I could not find, like what is the yellow "trigger type" button for ? I have never been metal detecting but cannot wait to go try it out but need some info first. Any reply would be greatly appreciated, Thank you, Pan Handle sis

Might i suggest one thing,, think about this,,where are you going to send it to get repairs,,i'm not sure what your paying for it ,,but there are alot of options and price ranges on most of the top name brands, and they do come with a warranty,,check out some dealers on the web, some even have demo models and referbs..if moneys tight,,but i think youl'd be better off sticking to name brands that you can get parts for if something goes wrong,,also alot of accessories are avalible,,ie coils,,sound amps,,ect.,,
just a thought,,,

The Trigger may be for Pinpointing mode!!!!

I agree with dusty, make sure they have a great support outfit before going any further. That is very important for your investment. I havent read anything about seben MD's but I did work in Germany and I know they have some serious Tech savvy..

Maybe the yellow trigger is for pinpointing or it releases a little german guy that digs the hole for ya!!! good luck

Have to go wit the Rest... If ya haven't purchased it yet i would look into other detectors from manuf. that you know will be there and take care of you without alot of headaches if something goes wrong.

Welcome to T.Q ...you said you came across this machine like the others have said You might not want to invest in this machine...but if you got it for nothing just take it out hunting the knobs will tell you what they do when you turn or select them....have fun!
