Hey Sheepfarmer,

It can be tough going from an older machine that you are used to and getting a new one with all the bells and whistles.

I agree with Tinman. As you keep using your machine you will be building a good knowledge base and things will get easier for you.

I would suggest that you post your Garrett questions in the Garrett GTI 2500 sub-forum section of the Garrett Forum on this site. Alot of people will specifically look into the machine subforum that their machine is in, to glean whatever information is being said and post their replies.

I'm about 40 miles south of Staunton. I've heard of clubs farther north toward the DC area, but I don't belong to any of them.
