Default Ordered a White's Surf PI from Tony

Hey friends, I am so excited today. I ordered a White's Surf PI Pro from Tony yesterday! I can wait to get it. I am looking forward to getting into the surf this summer. I know it is an all metal detector, but any tips? I know I will be digging it all. Anyway It should be here by Monday. Yeah for me!! Anybody know what the weight of this detector is? Thanx for any replies in advance.

Thanx, I do too! Last summer I watched a few surf hunters, I was sweating my butt off, and they looked so happy. Hopefully, I will learn this machine fast.

I have a Whites PI and am still waiting to really get into the water...When I have used it on the sand it was very sensitive...lots of metal finds and coins...You should do well with yours...It is a whole different ball game and I think you will like it...As I was told...there are many on the sand, but few in the water..That is where the good finds will be..You will have to get you a good scoop to use...Congrats....Buster....

Hi Buster, yeah I need the scoop now. In my excitement, I didn't even think until I got off the phone. Tony went on vacation for a week so when he gets back I'll take a spin to his store. Last summer this lady I know found 2 huge platinum bands, and about 5 gold rings, and a couple of .925 rings. She has the Excal. She told me I was her biggest competition on the beach, but I only found 1 gold ring, 10k, and it says mom on it. I killed the clad at the beach. The only thing I am worried about is the weight. The shoulder thing. Hasn't been right since the surgery, still hurts like heck. Maybe it will help not sure, but I am going to give it a huge shot at finding the good stuff. Grin and bear it yah know? Thanx for your reply. How long have you had your detector? HH!!

Looks like this is hip mountable, or belt. You will only have to deal with the wand and antenna! ( Errrr Coil )
