Don't know about the BH,would imagine dry sand fine..........anyway have a good trip and wish you lots of finds

it did well in the dry sand, but got pretty squirrly in the wet sand and in the water (coil only). I cranked the sensitivity way down and it still gave me a lot of falses. No problem in the dry sand, found a lot of clad. It was way early in the spring, so the jewelry deposits were down...
