I got my Pirate back yesterday evening , it is the same detector I sent in , still has the dirt on it I left there . This is what my invoice says : We have stopped the loud chatter. You will sometimes still hear some chirping. Good Luck .
I did take it to the front yard before dark and the loud chatter is gone , but I do hear a slight chirping , not constant, mostly when I lay it down to dig . I will do a better hunt this weekend in water and report back. The pirate is excellent for a light weight machine and pinpointing is very easy.

Terri

I haven't used the Pirate yet, maybe I should, but I've read some really awesome reviews on it. Of course, TQ'ers post even awesomer stuff so maybe you don't need to read these now, but here's the linky if you do...

So far I've found one very old license plate, a lot of nails, some funky green pennies and other misc. change.. but who's counting? I'm just here to have fun, giggle, and make friends along the way!
