Question Have you knowledge of this.

Hello, I dug up one side of a pistol handle [toy, the best I can tell], it appears to be solid copper. Is this possible? Has anyone ever heard of this kind of composition in either real or toy guns. My knowledge of guns is very limited. Thanks so much.

Talking Toy Guns

Toy guns were made out of many different types of metals including iron, copper, pressed steel, pot metal, brass and tin. Maybe even composites of the above and some are even chrome plated. A Toy Guide Book would be a good reference!!!

Some old tools had gun type handles and so did(do) paint-spray guns, etc.Check aeverything. There were even coin operated 'shooting galleries' where the gun was attached to the mach. and it shot little ball-bearings into holes.Could be a handle from ????

Hi Ron,

Somr of those items you spoke of I can remember seeing them. The guy who painted the house I was raised in used a gun like device in the early 60's. It looks like I've got my work cut out for me. I'll let you know what I discover. Thanks for your input.
