Question Any Ideas?

I have a Whites MXT, I have been hunting a old army camp that is all grown up with sage brush I have the stock coil on it and was wondering if there is a smaller one that would work on it so I can get through and around the brush better. Also would it get any deeper? Thanks Lope

In my humble opinion a smaller one is much easier to swing in such a area, but it will not go a s deep as the standard one. As a rule of thumb most coils will go about as deep as they are wide. Hope this helps

I agree with Boobie. The smaller coil will work better in the overgrown areas. They also work better in trashy places where the junk is plentiful, although you will loose a few inches in depth with a smaller coil.

I do a lot of woods hunting and don't know how many times i've stabbed a small coil into the most God awful sticker bush or underbrush and got a hit to good to let go.
In my humble opinion the 5.3 Eclipse is a great compromise between depth and mobility vs the 950 on a DFX but the 4x6shooter may work nicely on the MXT as it doesn't rely so much on sweep speed to achieve depth. HH Bill
