Hi everyone. I am about to get my Ace 250. The ole B-day is getting close, finally. I am now looking into headphones for it. Any thoughts on the best ones to get?
Also going to get a bag I guess. Saw one on ebay that's all padded, etc. Like $50.00. Any thoughts on bags or if it's better to tear it down every time or not? Thanks in advance! |

What ever headphones you get make sure that they have volume control. The ACE puts out a very loud signal with headphones on. Also I have a nice pair of padded, cover your whole ear expensive headphones and the problem I have with them is that when it is hot out I sweat like a pig under them. I ended up just buying a cheap set from Shopko, with volume control and they seem to work just as well but ears can "breath" when its hot out. However, when it is cold out the cover your ears ones are great for warmth.
As for a bag, unless you are traveling a lot or something you will tire pretty quickly of taking the machine apart and putting it back together every time you want to use it. I think it would be hard on the wire jacks plugging and unplugging too. I just hang mine in my garage. Just my 2 cents worth. ![]() |

I had a customer who was partially deaf. We tried all sorts of headphones I carry and beleive it or not the Vanco headphones were the best for the Ace250. Even over some at three times the cost. As far as bags go ; I carry a padded bag for 39.95. I don't have it listed on my site but you can put in a note in the comment section when ordering and I'll add it in.
Good Luck.

I have a couple of sets of Radio Shack behind the head stereo volume adjustable headphones I use for summer time that isn't too hot to wear all day. They run $15.99 a set at my local Radio Shack store. I like them a lot. Monty
