Question Vibra Probe or Treasure Mate ??

Need some advice or recommendations. I want to buy a pin pointer. I have narrowed it down to two. I can't make up my mind. Any advice recommendations would be appreciated.

I also use the Vibra Probe and love it. It is the only one I have ever used but have no complaints.

Hi Basset, without a doubt the Vibraprobe is the way to go. The Vibraprobe encompasses what a real pinpointer is supposed to do. I use one myself Basset and it has saved the day many times. So if I can help out I would be more than happy to assist you. I'm John at John's Detectors at your service. God Bless America!

Default Bullseye II

Have any of you, who are so enamored of the Vibra-Probe, ever tried a Bullseye II from White's Electronics?

Default Vibraprobe all the way.

I have tried others but the Vibraprobe can't be beat. Some complain that it only detects within an inch from the target BUT in my opinion why would anyone want a probe to detect any further (we have pinpoint on our detectors that should get us within two inches of our target).

There are dealers on the forum that can chime in but I feel they will tell you the same thing.

Default Treasure Mate.

I own a treasure mate probe. It is very well made and works great. I however do not use it as much as I would like as the frequency interefers with my Explorer II. I can only use it when I remove my headphones and set the detector down away from it. Not my normal digging method. This is something you should be aware of when choosing a probe.
