Default Spaniard Expeditions in Texas

Hi everyone, I am wondering if anyone has good reliable material showing where all of the Spanish expeditions went in Texas. I have an aquaintance that is convinced that there are large gold caches hidden here in West Texas that the Spaniards buried along these routes. Ok I just thought I would ask. God Bless all and Merry Christmas too!

Default Spanish Gold Caches In Texas???

No doubt that we have some still buried in this great state. All that I know is that the present OST Road (Old Spanish Trail) that goes thru Houston follows the original pathway pretty close maybe within a 0.5 mile or so. This was told to me by Van Fossen before he died recently! His former shop was right on OST. Also the original Spanish Crossing on the Trinity River is located not too far from the present HWY 90 river crossing site. Also the state is criscrossed with Former mission and fort sites and not all of them have been located. Also some of the State markers are off by a few miles orso. That's about all I know ......JOE
