Default Which Coil?

As a newbie I have a lot of questions which I will probably ask over time. For now, I want to know what the difference is between the Eclipse Shooter DD (4*6) and the Eclipse Deepscan DD 1400. Do they both work well in high trash areas or is one for high trash (Eclipse Shooter DD) and the other for high mineralized ground and does that also mean trashy?

Thanks,
Dan (new dfx owner)

For what it is worth this what I believe.
I have the 6 x 10DD and the 1400DD. I find that the 1400 goes deeper but doesn't sort out the trash as good as the 6 x 10.
The 4 x 6 should sort out even better than the 6 x 10.
I pretty much use the 6 x 10 as my primary coil, unless I have a large area to cover where there is little or no trash.

Thanks Boobie. Would you recomend getting the 1400 to replace the 950 stock as well as the Eclipse Shooter DD (4x6) for trashy areas. Or would it be advantageous on my part to just get the Eclipse Shooter DD (4x6) and stick with the swtock coil. Don't want to spend all my money.

Thanks Dan

Tony could give you a better professional answer to that question, but if I had to do it over I would haven't purchased the 1400DD, as in my opinion the stock coil is so close to being the same in depth and separation it isn't worth the money.
If my son was thinking of a new coil I would tell him to get the 4 x 6 or the 6 x 10.
