Hi,
I'm new to the group and would like a little help before purchasing my first detector. I've been looking at the Garrett Sea Hunter Mark II. Does anyone have experience with this model? Can I do better for the same price? How deep will this model detect? I plan on hunting on land and in the water here in Maryland as well as on dive and work trips. Thanks for the assistance! Bill |

The Sea Hunter ia a capable detector that has proven itself over the years. A bit better would Be the Tesoro Tiger Shark. I prefer a PI detector for salt water even though you dig it all. But then again on a beach you CAN dig it all since it's easy to dig there. The White's Beach HUnter ID is also a good detector. On the other end is the top of the line Minelab Excalibur. A bit pricey but woth it.
Let me know if I cna help you any more in your decision. ![]()
