Default something i learned a long

long long time ago. i stoped by the local md shop and they had just closed. the owner was putting a push mower a weedeater and a md in the back of his truck. i asked him were ya headed he said metal detecting. hmmmm been doing to ever since. when i can get by with it. cut that brush down where other people cant get into. i do test strips in the field out here on the farm and its panned out. today i went up to the old celler hole thats still full of trash but has been worked hard in the past years by alot of people. i took the garden tractor up ther with a blade on it and went to the thickest over grown spot i could find. wild rose thorn bushes ect. i moved a spot about 10 x 20. then went and got the other tractor and cut it down to about dirt. now its getting dark. grabed the md to check it real fast. and got a bad no date ih. then a eagle button, then a 1890 i.h. and a 1891 i.h. in just a few minutes. so remember look were others wont bother. i dont suggest taking in a weedeater to the courthouse or local church yard. but theres plenty of abannded place you can. I been doin the same thing lately,I've found silver at the old school every trip by cheaking the area's along the edge's and in and under bushes.Spring time is the best time to hit the area's that are normaly in the high grass. Also when i'm searching wooded area's i like to move stuff out of the way, like rotten logs and dont forget to look under every rock !
