The YF-1 would be the ultimate probe for your Ace but the Vibraprobe is more than adequate. Check my site and you'll see more infor there. If I can be of any further help please let me know.

Default yf-1 or vibra probe

the vibra probe doesn't have as much depth as the yf-1 but i would advise getting the vibra probe. if you check some of the forums there are quite a few posts about how to water proof your ace 250. If you were to decide to do this you would then be able to use your vibra probe along with a sifter while water hunting. I use my vibra probe exclusively for water hunting while using my sifter and it saves alot of time.

If you intend to hunt only on land then I would give the yf-1 some serious thought for 2 reasons: its depth is better than the vibra probe and it is very convenient to have it right on your detector shaft and hear it thru your headphones.

Default Vibra-Probe Model 570

Found this online:

"Treasure Products is pleased to announce the upcoming release of the new Vibra-Probe(tm) Pinpointer and Vibra-Tector(tm) Mini Metal Detector. The new Vibra-Probe Model 570, and Vibra-Tector Model 730, contain exciting new design advancements that provide deeper detection depths, higher sensitivity and longer battery life.
The new products are scheduled for release September of 2007. Detailed specifications, artwork and pricing will be available mid August.
Effective immediately we are no longer accepting orders for the original model 560 Vibra-Probe, and 720 Vibra-Tector. However, we will continue to support these products and honor their warranties. "

Anybody want to buy a slightly used VP 560 I would be really interested to hear what people think of the 570 once it's out.

I like my VP 560, but I sure wish it went just a tad deeper.

Just got a VP560 and I love it. It takes very little "getting used to" and it has been absolutely "dead-on"...and the price was right...I'd take Chuck's advice and wait for the new model...he won't steer you wrong.
