Default Digging Tool

Don't ask me why, but I was bad @ digging neat plugs, no more!!!!! I just got this new knife from garden gate (Swiss blade) only $26.00 with sheath.

This knife is awsome!!! very, very strong and can not say enough about how neat it digs a plug.

go to Gardening Information and Design Ideas from Garden Gate Magazine

look for soil knife/w sheath

Sounds like a good one. I wonder if that is the only source for this tool? Thanx for the post.

Default Lowes - Went on-line could not find

If I paid a little more it was worth it, for the time it will save me, also knowing I will leave the place I was digging the way I found it (neat&Clean)

That looks like a dang fine tool, and I may look into it... it looks a bit like my Fiskars digger - which I like, but the handle is a bit clumsy, especially when my hands get sweaty...

When I first started, my mentor had me using a basic Bowie-knife, and I could leave a place virtually unrecognizable that I'd been there... worked like a champ, but... I broke more than a couple of them, and, you gotta be careful where you carry a big-ass knife around these days (although, in some of the places I hunted, I think it was good that I had it)...

Default digging tool

I have two of those on order only without the sheath, was going to keep one for myelf and end the other to my Dad,but he' getting a digger with the fisher f2 pkg I just ordered him for his b-day from wanda at kelleyco. If any one would like it I could sell it at my cost about 8dollars+tax for me (I work in a lumberyard, inside sales and do all/most of the ordering for hand/power tools, and can get everything at cost+10%)
if any body is interested let me know.

I reallize this is my first post and if this inapropriate let me know ,I'll retract if it is. just hate to se the 2nd one sit on the shelf forever.
Hank

Looks like a nice digger. Let us know how it does after you get the chance to use it. I agree, leaving an inconspicious hole is a plus.
